It says I blinked and I didn't

Blink detection is calibrated to your own eyes in the three seconds before the countdown. If it is firing too early, quit the round and start again so it can measure you properly, and make sure your whole face is in frame and reasonably lit.

Very bright light behind you is the most common cause. Turn around so the light is in front of you rather than behind.

The camera does not start

• Check that Blinko has camera permission in your phone's Settings, under Apps.
• Close any other app that might be using the camera.
• Restart the app. If it still fails, restart the phone.
• You can still play without the camera: turn on Practice mode in Settings and tap instead of blinking.

I cannot save my clip

Press Save on the preview screen and allow the permission when your phone asks. That writes the video into your gallery.

If the app warns you that the clip is a .webm file, your phone's browser engine could not record mp4. The video is still valid and will play on your phone, but some apps refuse that format when you try to upload it. Updating Android System WebView from the Play Store usually fixes it.

The game feels slow, or misses blinks

Blinko does real-time face tracking, which is demanding. Close other apps, make sure the phone is not in battery saver mode, and let it cool down if it has been running hot.

My eyes hurt

Then stop playing. That is not a joke: the game asks you to do something uncomfortable, and it is not worth hurting yourself over a number. Take a long break, and see Terms of Use for the health notes.
